  According to the auction house Sotheby’s, Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s My Lonesome Cowboy was sold at $15,160,000. Apprently, it was expected to be somewhere between $3,000,000 - 4,000,000, but the price went up much higher than expected.
  This figure was originally created in 1998.
