A bug catcher named “MUSCICAPA” was released in Japan. It looks like a nicely designed lamp, but actually this device can catch bugs. It will be useful especially at cafes and restaurants that attract lots of bugs during spring and summer time in Japan. The system behind the bug catcher is very simple: Attracting bugs by using special light and catch them by the sticky yellow/green tape. It is designed by Tomoko Azumi, who is working as a product, furniture, and interior designer based in London.
