Rice plant swaying in the breeze

Another product by +d, exhibited at Ambiente in Frankfurt last month.

It is called “Kusa” (meaning “weed”) This is an object which can soothe us in our stressful lives. It might be hard to see how it works in reality, but it is perfectly balanced and won’t fall even if you touch the heads of the plants.(it just keeps moving its head since the bottom of “Kusa” is round) It won “Toyama product design competition 2006”.

“Kusa” was designed by two Japanese designers Hiromi Taki & Tomonori Oohata.

You will be able to purchase “Kusa” at style-pd.com in May 2008.
