Tokujin Yoshioka’s bouquet chairs

 I have many opportunities to see chairs at exhibitions and fairs around the world, but it is not so easy to find something different. These chairs look pretty unique.  They are named “Bouquet” and are designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, who is  one of the most well-known product designers from Japan.

According to Yoshioka, “The concept of Bouquet evolved from the tissue installation that was held in the Moroso showroom in New York in October 2007, in which approximately 30,000 sheets of tissue were used to create a clouds-like atmosphere”.

These chairs are made of tissue papers, but they are planning to use fabric when they go into production. Only concern that I have is how easy is it to clean these innovative chairs…
