The nominations of “Good Design Awards” were anounced this month. Among fifteen products or projects, one will be chosen as Grand Prix. You can see all the nominated products here.
What I think the most interesting this year is “Ready-to-Assemble Japanese Room” by Asao Sakamoto. Taking an advantage of the traditional Japanese techniques, Sakamoto created ready-to-assemble room without using any nails and screws. So you can assemble and disassemble repetedly.
