Display Cleaner by Tent
Japanese design studio Tent has released Display Cleaner. It was inspired by a chalkboard eraser. Made of microfiber, it is perfect to use for almost any computer displays including tablet computers such as iPad. The yellow tag makes it possible to hang on a wall. It is washable, so you can use it over and over again. There are two types available: beech and walnut.

Floating Vases / Ripple by oodesign
oodesign is an award winning design studio established by Taku Omura. “Floating Vase / RIPPLE” is their first commercial product. Shaped like ripples in water, “floating ripple vase” floats on water. All you have to do is fill a container with water, and place a single flower in the vase. It will float around with a help of the movement of the air. It is currently exclusively available at Japanese design shop for customers outside Japan.

“Book on Book” by Tent
Japanese design studio Tent released “Book on Book”. The transparent page holder keeps a book open while you are working on other tasks such as cooking, using a computer, etc. It is made of acrylic.

Issei Miyake and Reality Lab.
Issei Miyake and Relaity Lab. collaborated and released a series of lamps titled “In-EI ISSEY MIYAKE”. “In-EI” means “light” and “shadow”, which is aesthetics traditionally appreciated in Japan. Recycled polyester used for the lamps is strong and does not require an internal structure, and at the same time, it is possible to fold it down when not in use. It is a winner of iF design award 2013.

Kobito by Miyuki Fushitani
“Kobito” was designed by Miyuki Fushitani, an interior design student at Musashino Art University in Tokyo. It is a set of a cup and a cup stand to use in a bathroom. The advantages of using the stand is that it keeps the cup dry, prevents the cup from getting dusty, and most importantly, makes you smile. “Kobito” has already been released by +d in Japan, and it will be available at jpdesign.org | Japanese design shop in the near future. Reset – Beyond Fukushima
Ever since the first days following the disastrous events that took place in Japan in March 2011, photojournalist Kazuma Obara has been visiting the sites and the people affected. He even visited the Fukushima power plant itself, where he talked to the workers involved. The series of portraits and interviews he produced is published for the first time in this publication. Obara’s photographs offer touching insights about the consequences of the events surrounding Fukushima. Sou Fujimoto Sketchbook
In his personal sketchbook Sou Fujimoto offers insights into his design process. Through the sketches, drawings, and notes readers can trace how his complex concepts are made manifest and develop on paper. SOU FUJIMOTO, born in Hokkaido, Japan, in 1971, established his architectural practice Sou Fujimoto Architects in 2000. In 2008, he was World Architecture Festival winner in the Private House category, and was awarded a RIBA International Fellowship in 2012. Recently he completed the new library and museum for the Musashino Art University in Tokyo. Available at Japanese design shop.

Vegetable/Fruit Block is a memo pad created by “Paperable” based in Ishikawa, Japan. It is a collaboration by Ishikawa prefecture’s local art community KAPO, and printing company Yamakoshi.
