White noise machine by Yuri Suzuki
Japanese designer Yuri Suzuki designed “White noise machine” in Delhi, India. This machine calculates the quantity of street noise and generate the same amount of “white noise”.

CAMPER and Tokujin Yoshioka
The new Camper store in London has been designed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka. Camper has been collaborating with many artists and designers, and this time they are working with Yoshioka, who is internationally recognized with his design for Italian funiture producer Morosso and Japanese watch maker Seiko, etc. Yoshioka is also working with Camper’s shoe design project called “Camper to & ether”. It will be interesting to see what kind of shoes Yoshioka will design… via: excite/ism

Architect Sou Fujimoto with Lexus
Lexus has been working with some of the top Japanese creators since they started participating in Milan Design Week. This year they chose architect Sou Fujimoto. The title is “Lexus – L finess Crystallized wind”. It is all made of acrylic. Mobile phones by Yaoi Kusama
Japanese mobile phone manufacturer KDDI and internationally renowned artist Yaoi Kusama collaborated and released a new mobile phone series called “iida”. These are very exclusive models since there are lots of manual works and high-tech involved. Even though these phones are based on Kusama’s art works, function wise, they are also very sophisticated. These phones will be released in Japan as a limited edition series, and they will come with Kusama’s signature. Takashi Murakami
According to the auction house Sotheby’s, Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s My Lonesome Cowboy was sold at $15,160,000. Apprently, it was expected to be somewhere between $3,000,000 – 4,000,000, but the price went up much higher than expected. This figure was originally created in 1998.

Graffiti designer Kami at Point Gallery in Ebisu
Graffiti designer “Kami” has been active internationally, but this is the first time in seven years that he has an exhibition in Japan. This exhibition is titled “The ressurection”. Visitor can purchase some of his products at the gallery. Kami is originally from Kyoto, and joined the international artist group “Barnstormers” in the 90th. Renowned art gallery Kyubido in Roppongi hosts first exhibition
Kyubido gallery, which was originally located in Ginza, moved to Nishiazabu, Tokyo and is hosting their first exhibition titled “Nine stories 2008”.
